Original paintings are available from most published artists. If you have seen artwork by a catalogued living artist we can normally obtain further pieces. Prices and availability vary enormously with demand and popularity. Please telephone for current availability and prices.
We specialise in original artwork by professional living artists, both on canvas and behind glass. The majority of pieces are sourced directly from the artist, are substantialy framed and priced to sell !! There are seldom publisher or agent fees to pay and therefore substantialy reduced overheads between artist and gallery, making these pictures highly affordable. Prices of stock paintings generaly range from £95.00 for a small original to £1000.00 for a large canvas
As time permits we will show photographs of some framed originals in stock at the time. We stress that we are not internet dealers and an item may well be sold soon afterwards........please ask, we are happy to e-mail specific pictures of current stock.
Cygnets works closely with artists on our trade side and occasionaly we 'discover' hidden talent while mounting or framing for artists themselves.
A little guidance can often result in highly desireable originals being produced and offered for sale in our galleries. As new artists, the prices are remarkably low for the time and effort involved.....and if the artist later becomes published prices will soar !!
In some instances we are so impressed with an artist using our trade facilities, that we invest heavily in producing very affordable limited edition prints of their work. One such artist is SUE ANDREWS. Her pencil wildlife drawings are we feel, some of the best we have seen (and we see a lot !!). We have therefore produced a limited edition of only 95 high quality giclee prints of four drawings.

If you are an aspiring or full time working artist we are pleased to offer our framing and presentation services. Good mounting and framing makes an incredible difference to appearance and saleability. Subject to our minimum quantities, you may be eligeable for a trade discount.
(please remember that we are a busy, discerning business, not tutors or unpaid artist advisors. We are often approached by over ten people a week wanting us to sell their own, friends or relations 'stunning' artwork. We will gladly look at an 'artist's' work with a presentation and framing order, the essential first step to any potential sale. If we then consider the artwork suitable for our own galleries or clients we will be approaching you !)
