Simply provide us with the digital file on a disc, memory stick or any memory card.

Please remember that the final quality is dependant on the image we have to work with. 
There is often too much emphasis put on file size and 'pixels'. A small file from a good camera will always give better results than a large file taken on a mobile phone with a plastic lens only 1/8th inch wide. Quality...not quantity....every time.

FOR OLDER PHOTOGRAPHS NEGATIVES AND SLIDES 
High resolution scanning is also available with surprisingly good results. We DO NOT charge for this scanning service but photographs are often scratched or damaged and will need some repair. 
Rather surprisingly, the older the photograph, often the better the results. Modern prints are usually very low quality and without any colour balancing....but they are now only a few pence each !!
Any visible marks will be pointed out to you and repair options explained.

AND THEN
Your photograph is displayed on our screen at up to 30" x 20" for you to see EXACTLY what will be printed and the quality available. At this time any obvious marks, repairs or minor adjustments can usually be made or demonstrated.

PLEASE SEE THE OOPS TAB FOR  EXAMPLES OF ITEMS THAT ONLY BECOME OBVIOUS WHEN THE PICTURE IS ENLARGED. ONCE PRINTED IT IS TOO LATE......
(AUNT MAUDE WILL ALWAYS HAVE THAT CIGARETTE IN HER HAND ON YOUR WEDDING PHOTO !!)



E-MAILED IMAGES
We receive e-mails with images attached from our trade clients on a daily basis.
Without wishing to be unkind to our retail clients,  these are sent from colour balanced and optimised systems, in full resolution and zipped to avoid loss of 'packets' These are studio photos without redeye, blemishes or other items needing repair.

WE WILL ACCEPT RETAIL CLIENT IMAGES BY E-MAIL on the following basis;
The file must be of a size suitable for printing and not compressed or reduced for e-mailing.
It must be sent as a seperate attatchment and not embedded in the message.
It must not be larger than 3mb
It must be accompanied by the approximate printed size required in inches.

The image will be inspected and a short reply sent confirming size and any OBVIOUS repairs or adjustments required. The file WILL NOT be printed without your seeing the image on our screen first or confirming that a 'blind' print is required. Please remember that your screen is very unlikely to be colour balanced or contrast matched and colours can vary significantly on small compact digitals.
PAYMENT IS REQUIRED BEFORE ANY PRINTING COMMENCES and this is your acceptance of the image as displayed on our screen (whether seen or otherwise)
